Wireless fault

Hi. I wondered if you could help. I have a D-Link DWL-G122 Wireless LAN USB Adapter with cradle which was working fine yesterday until I updated my OS from 10.3.9 to 10.4. I've checked the D-Link website and it does support 10.4 but the thing is just dead. Even when I couldn't connect properly before, the lights were always flashing on the unit but nothing now.

Could this have something to do with my OS upgrade and if so how can I rectify it?

Any help/advice would be gratefully appreciated.
