Can't connect Mac Book to wireless printer

cant connect MacBook Pro with hp wireless printer after installing mcafee. Rebooted modem, printer, used clean my mac app, restarted mac. Other devices ( iPad and iPhone connect and print). Uninstalled mcafee but icon still on top bar. Something is blocking my mac from the printer. In system requirements printer icon shows up but has a yellow small circle with a lightening strike in the middle. When I try to print doc, it says can't find printer. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

A few questions:
-Which exact model MacBook Pro?
-Which version of OS X/macOS?
-Which model HP printer?

If you still see McAfee in the menu bar, then it didn't fully uninstall.
-Did you use a McAfee uninstaller?
-Is it listed in System Preferences... > Users & Groups > click your user in the list > Login Items? If so, try removing it an restarting.
