Hi there. Dose anyone have this problem with a 2007/2008 15" MacBook Pro?After a few minuets of powering up,the trackpad cursor selects randomly everything it comes near thats clickable or scrollable. It is either a blue block line across the script or a larger block covering several lines. To get it to disappear I move cursor off the area of blue and click trackpad. The MBP is2.4 Ghz 2Gb ram (got 4 to upgrade) ,its the last of the pre unibody, oh and the battery is not to good, just 2 l.e.d. light up after long charge. Cheers to all John.

Hello and welcome.

It sounds like either a setting in System Preferences... > Trackpad (such as tap to click or drag lock) are enabled, or possibly a hardware issue with the trackpad itself.

-Which version of OS X?
-Do you have a USB mouse you can try?
