iPad went Dark. Siri is slow, but No Other Sign of Life. Did it die?

Then I was playing Words With Friends (My Addiction) late at night, the following morning it appeared to be out of battery, so I charged it. Then trying to turn on a black screen I discovered that Siri answered me, but very slow, and not really successful. Can it be revived?

Two-part Question (if allowed -- perhaps not pertinent): Is it possible to put Words With Friends on a MacBook Air?

First off, there isn't a version of Words with Friends for you Mac...sorry!

Try both restart steps for your iPad in this link: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If those don't work, try the steps here: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won‘t turn on.

If none of that corrects the issue, then you'll need to visit an Apple Store to have it looked at.
