Using a Mac Mini OSX v10.4.8
In a small office environment with a local network.
I have a couple of HP Deskjet printers connected to the network via a D Link print server.
I have got basic printing functioning, but have not managed to associate a proper HP driver with these networked printers. HP provides a Mac utility to install printers but it does not see them on the other side of the server, so doesn't do anything.
I have connected one of the printers direct with USB and used the HP utility to set it up - fine - except I don't want to use the printer attached locally.
How can I manually assign this HP driver to the networked printer?
Oh- and how do I get draft printing? I can't seem to find an option for this anywhere.
