Recently moved and have a new internet provider. Have a 2018 MacBook Pro and Epson XP-420 printer and have not been able to print since provider change. Mac returns message that printer is not connected. Printer seems to recognize the new provider SSID. Discussing with provider over the phone is useless.. Any ideas how to resolve?

If you open System Preferences > Printers and Scanners, Is your printer listed?
Yes, printer is the internet not one listed and shown as offline.
After reading my reply to Lufbrarunner, I see it needs clarification. System preferences shows this printer (it’s the only printer) status as “off line”. When the print que is opened, the message is “this printer is not connected”
