Happy with my MacBook Pro; but also still happy with my HP LaserJet 2100tn b&w printer -- an old workhorse that still rocks. But, printer will no longer work as wireless (which it has successfully for many years) for some reason. I've tried everything I can think of and am now willing to go to wired connection to have the old printer back and working. Ethernet cable (RJ 45) now links printer to Netgear hub. But there is not compatible ethernet port on the MacBook Pro. My question (at last!): is there a patch that will step the RJ 45 down to the ethernet port on the MacBook Pro? If so, where can I get one? THANKS!

Probably easier to connect an Apple Basestation into your network. TimeCapsule is the best way, that way you are backing up too.

Thanks, guys. I will look into the Basestation option -- I do use Time Machine as well...
