Hi, Ive just upgraded to a 2.4ghz Intel Mac from a G5. My old G5 seems to have been quicker on my home wireless router... My son has mentioned it and even my girlfriend did this evening! I have been of course defending my new purchase but it really does seem true!! Could it be the new aluminum case is repelling the wireless signal!! Any help would be really appreciated.

It's usually more one of those weird issues of router manufacturer vs network card manufacturer issues or perhaps the new wireless card isn't as strong as the old was? Issues like that are harder to debug.

So your new Macs WLAN indicator in the menu bar top right shows less bars than the old did?
