Watch 7 with Iphone 7, iOS 15.1

Just bought used Watch 7. Updated Phone 7 to iOS 15.1 as that was all it would take.
The Watch says it must have iOS 16 to pair.
Is there a work around?

Hello,

Unfortunately, the only workaround would be to replace your iPhone 7 (only supports up to iOS 15) with a newer model that supports iOS 16 - iPhone SE (2nd generation or later) or iPhone 8 or later.
