i was thinking of moving from desktop to MacBook M1 laptop and i work from home using a program called AWS (amazon work space) remote desktop and i was wondering on how do i use the mic as my headset allows for it to plug a usb into the laptop or pc so i can use the control unit with 7.1 but i can remove it and it has a headphone jack that i can plug directly into a headphone port will that allow me to use sound and mic as well as i will have to use for meeting in that program.
Wanted to know how to setup a hyperx cloud 2 headset to macbook pro m1

Sorry for the delayed response.
It looks like it would be best to use USB, since the 3.5mm audio jack on M1 Macs is only an output...it doesn't support input of the mic. You would need a USB to USB-C adapter to connect it.
Because I am not familiar with the HyperX products, you could also contact their support directly to see if it is supported with the USB to USB-C adapter on a Mac.
