Transferring music programs to new computer

I'm getting an iMac 27 inch today and need to transfer all my data from my Macbook Pro. The Macbook is running OSX 10.6.8 and the new iMac is Lion. I've been backing up the OS via Time Machine and assume that I can't just transfer all my programs over to the new computer since the OS is different. Ideally I would prefer not to have to re-install all my programs like Komplete 7 (12 disks), Logic 8 (8 disks) etc. What are my options?

Use Migrate Assistant, Plug in your MacBook Pro.
Migrate Everything and it will do the work of sort through your Apps.
Very Very easy, do make it complicated...
