Transferring MP3 files using AirDroid to Macbook Pro 2014.

I'm transferring MP3 files using AirDroid from my Google pixel 2xl to Macbook Pro 2014. Some tracks end up with a different artist & album name. Anyone having this problem???

-Which version of OS X/macOS?
-What software are you using to transfer the MP3s?
-What is the original source of the MP3s?
-Are you importing them into iTunes?
