Transfer .pst files to mac mail

I am using windows laptop and need to transfer all my mails to mac mail in mac book pro.
I have years worth of mails arranged in several folders, and many of the mails have important attachments.
How can I import these saved emails from Outlook to Mail.app?
I have somehow managed to bring all of my Windows files to my mac book pro except for my saved emails.
