The finder is missing folders?

I clicked on the finder but I saw the application, library, system, and user. I checked out online and I saw air dock, all the files icloud, application, desktop,doc, download. How do I change it?

Hello and welcome.

Hover your pointer to the right of the word Favorites and an arrow will appear. If you click it, it will expand the list.

Also, in Finder you can click Finder > Preferences... in the menu bar and then click Sidebar to toggle visibility off for the different folders.
