I have an AirBook running OS 10.15.7. Recently one of my external drives died and I replaced it with a Buffalo 4 TB external drive. That may have nothing to do with my problem, but it's coincident with it so I thought I'd mention it.
The problem - or at least, development that worries me -- is that suddenly when I open a folder in the Finder, I get a spinner and "loading" for a few seconds, which never happened before. I was going to do a check on my internal hard drive, but Disk Utility has been giving me "loading" for the past ten minutes, which is also weird.
What would cause this?
