power supply a1343 vs a1105

my ps a1343 failed but i have an a1105 both are 85w 16 to 18 vdc i just need to change the connector will i have any problems ?
i did notice the a1105 has a thin gray wire that the a1343 does not have
any one with info please send my way

The A1343 is an 85W power supply for a MacBook Pro. The A1105 is an 85W power supply for a G4 Mac mini. They are not interchangeable. I wouldn't advise using it and/or changing the connector. Purchase a replacement 85W for your MacBook Pro.

No, a power supply can't really change its output.

Does the Mac use less power? Yes, when the Mac is asleep, it draws next to no power.

We have 6 Macs on all the time, and can see no difference in power consumption when they are all turned off.
