When I turn off my computer I am able to sign back on with my username and password but when I try to do something on my computer and am asked for my administrative name and password (ie: download a program) the information I put in doesn't work. Does anyone know how to either reset my computer or have any advice on what to do...

Hello and welcome to mac-help.com. If you have your system disk, you can make yourself the administrator. If you don't have your system disk, you need to purchase one. It will also come in handy in the future.
