Macbook Pro '13 freezes - help!

Hi all,

I have a
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013),
2.4 GHz Intel Core i5,
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel Iris 1536 MB

Recently it has been freezing when I have been trying to log in? It gets stuck on this page and I have to hard reset it.

I have tried:
- resetting the PRAM
- Erasing and re-installing High Sierra (three times!)
- Tried to restore from a previous point
- Ran diagnostics (nothing came back)

It runs fine in Safe Mode - but obviously that is not a long term fix!

I was wondering if it was a graphics or hard drive issue?

Any suggestions from any one?

A couple of questions:

1. Have you ever done any disk cleanup/maintenance/repairs, using software? There are some excellent ones available, both free and commercial, that can help you with those tasks. Also, you can do quite a lot of disk cleanup on your own.

2. What software are you using for backups?
