locked in PC

I am a new Mac user. I have MacBook that is running OX 10.0.5 (Tiger?), and I was playing around with the start up options while running my Mac. Now the computer only starts up in Windows, and I can't figure out how to get out of WIndows and back to the Mac side, which is where I want to be! I'm sure this is a basic question, but I'd welcome any help folks could offer!

If you shut down the windows and restart the mac holding down Option (its usually labelled alt on the keyboard) your machine should startup and give you a choice of disks to start from. You could also try holding down X at startup as that forces it to bypass any other disks and boot straight into OSX
