SOLVED IMovie quitting unexpectedly when trying to save as a file.

Currently using a MacBook Pro (2017) using Ventura 13.6.1, running iMovie 10-3-10

Every time I try to save any edited footage iMovie via File-Save, hoping to save them as a file of varying sizes, iMovie just quits (see photo attached).

I've tried new edited footage and completed projects but getting the same result.

Any advice greatly accepted.

Also I have since cleared the iMovie library, deleted the iMovie app, re-installed the latest iMovie app and made sure I'm using the latest OS.

Still having the same issue.

Apple released an update to iMovie today. See if that resolves it. If not, you may want to delete your iMovie preference files.

Ok thank you for the advice, I'll do as you have suggested.

In the event of that not solving the issue, how do I delete the iMovie preferences ?

I'm not that tech savvy, and although it maybe a simple procedure, I don't want to make a mistake doing it.

Put the latest iMovie on the laptop (10.4), still getting the same issue.

All sorted now, it was a issue with NVRAM.
