SOLVED How do I watch MKV videos on my iMac.?

Hi,

just bough a new TV after the old one fell of its stand and cracked the screen.

the problem is, it hates MP4, and want to convert all my 20 years of videos to MKV files. (even then the TV only plays 2 out of 3 videos.)

my Itube Downloader will convert my iTume moves for MKV very fast. but I have 20 years of them. dam..

any one have any clues as to how I can vuew them on both computer & tv.

Hi Sandy,

MKV files are MP4 videos in a package.

You should have no issues viewing the files on your Mac using VLC (videolan.org).

Without knowing how your TV is accessing your files its hard to make a suggestion there.
