Getting to windows

I have a mac that has both windows and the apple platform and I cannot get to windows = a memory lapse? but I thin I tried all alternatives

Need more information:

1. What exact Mac model do you have?

2. What exact Mac OS are you running?

3. How did the Windows partition get created?

You should be able to use Boot Camp to boot your machine to that windows partition, assuming everything else is normal with your machine.

1. OSX El Capitan
2.Imac 20"
3. Do not remember how partition was created - have used for years without incident.

So, what about using Boot Camp to "get" to that Windows partition? IF you don't have either Parallels or VMware Fusion, then the only way would be with Bootcamp.
