So my dock has been having issues ever since I tried to change its background using leopard docks. It wouldn't remove applications, just "restarted" itself whenever I tried. Now following other posts, I deleted all of it contents, then tried to reinstall it. Without sucess. Now when I try to open its file (system -> library -> core services->) It says it cannot be opened because the system doesn't support its architecture. Help! I want my original dock back!

I am afraid you might have deleted some key feature from your Dock. Macs make it too easy to delete files, and that sometimes causes big problems when we don't know what effects a deletion will create. Do you have your original installation disk? You might need to reinstall your system. However, before doing that, I would suggest running some basic maintenance routines on your Mac. Check out these articles:

Maybe just repairing permissions could help you.
