Hey everyone! I've got the Apple Watch model A2774, version 9.6, and I've been using it for about 2 months. Lately, it hasn't been recording my sleep, even though it's fully charged. Anyone else experiencing this? Any tips or solutions would be awesome!! Thanks!

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

Ensure Proper Sleep Tracking Settings

  1. Check Sleep Schedule:
    • Open the Health app on your iPhone.
    • Go to the Browse tab and select Sleep.
    • Make sure your sleep schedule is set up correctly under Your Schedule.
  2. Enable Sleep Tracking:
    • Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
    • Go to My Watch > Sleep.
    • Ensure Track Sleep with Apple Watch is turned on.
  3. Check Focus Settings:
    • Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
    • Go to Focus > Sleep and make sure it's enabled.

Optimize Battery and Charging

  1. Ensure Sufficient Battery:
    • Make sure your Apple Watch is charged before you go to bed. If the battery level is low, it might not track your sleep properly.
  2. Turn Off Power Reserve Mode:
    • Power Reserve mode can prevent sleep tracking.
    • Swipe up on the watch face to open Control Center and make sure Power Reserve is off.

Recalibrate Sleep Tracking

  1. Restart Your Apple Watch:
    • Press and hold the side button until the power off slider appears.
    • Drag the slider to turn off your watch, then press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.
  2. Restart Your iPhone:
    • Press and hold the side button and either volume button until the power off slider appears.
    • Drag the slider to turn off your iPhone, then press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.

Update Software

  1. Update watchOS:
    • Ensure your Apple Watch is running the latest version of watchOS.
    • Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
    • Go to General > Software Update and install any available updates.
  2. Update iOS:
    • Ensure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS.
    • Go to Settings > General > Software Update.

Reset Sync Data

  1. Reset Sync Data:
    • Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
    • Go to General > Reset > Reset Sync Data.

Unpair and Re-pair Your Apple Watch

  1. Unpair Your Apple Watch:
    • Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
    • Go to All Watches, tap the info button next to your watch, and select Unpair Apple Watch.
    • Follow the prompts to complete the unpairing process.
  2. Re-pair Your Apple Watch:
    • After unpairing, bring your Apple Watch close to your iPhone.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to re-pair your watch.
    • Set it up as a new watch to avoid bringing over any potential corrupted data.
