weird black box on my desktop..

Hi. hope someone can help.
a black dialogue box tells me everything my cursor is doing.
also whatever i type appears there. how do i turn off!

Try pressing  F5 key or look in System Prefs ~> Universal Access ~> Seeing tab ~> VoiceOver
