Hello,

Ready to purchase a copy of W10 to install on new iMac.
Already bought a copy of Parallels.

Any difference between doing it as a download, or should I make the attempt
to actually find some place that has it on a CD ? Any advantage to a CD ?

Any caveats or nuances I should know about ?

BTW:

a. is it the 64 bit version I want ?

b. is it the "regular" W10 program I want to buy, or is there some "special "Apple" version
I need ?

Much thanks,
Bob

Hello,

You can go with a download or a physical disc. The Parallels documentation will have information regarding the install with both types.

Yes, 64-bit is preferred.

The standard Windows 10 Home version will be fine. There isn't a "special Apple version".

Hope that helps.

Before you proceed with this project, make sure you have a backup of your Mac "system" (I already answered your backup question on another thread that you started).
