I would like to record zoom videos on my Mac desktop with two cameras, but webcams are sold out everywhere. So I thought I could use my MacBook laptop as a second camera. How do I connect my MacBook to my desktop so that I can easily switch between the two cameras when recording videos? In other words, how can I use the camera on my MacBook as if it were a webcam connected to my desktop?

Hello and welcome.

Unfortunately, there isn't any way to use the camera of one Mac on another. You may be able to simply join the Zoom meeting with both Macs and record on each. You could then combine and edit the video recordings into a single file.
