Trouble with connecting iphone 11 to airplay

My car says my iPhone is connected, but all I can see are contacts; no music, etc.

Hello,

-What brand/model is the car?
-Does it support CarPlay fully?
-Are you connecting it with a USB to Lightning cable or via Bluetooth?
-Some vehicles do not support "wireless" CarPlay for all functions.
