Trouble connecting to printer

I really don't know if this is the right place to post this question but here goes! I am running Monterey and want to connect to a HP envy 7100 series, 7155 to be specific. Just can't do it. HP asks for the printer IP and I give it, but when I try to print, I get a message 'printer not responding".

Your printer settings should just see the printer on the network using bonjour if its connected to your WiFi network. If it's not seen, on the printer reset the network settings and then reconnect it to your WiFi network. Then try to reinstall it on the Mac. You should not need any drivers for this.
