I have a Note on my Mac. It starts off with a spreadsheet, then some more text.
On my Mac, I see two versions of that Note, on my iPhone I see 3 obsolete versions of that Note, on my iPad I see 3 obsolete versions of that note. (Categorized under “Previous 7 Days”.
I tried to share it with my wife via Messages, but got “An Error Occurred” “Unable to Start Collaboration”.
I tried to share it with my wife via Mail. Clicking on the option in her mail opened the Note, but with one rectangle from that spreadsheet.
Now, I see the most current version of that Note on my iPad and iPhone have the bad spreadsheet.
I typed “Test” in one of the spreadsheet fields. It showed up immediately in my iPad, and after a while on my iPhone. I checked, and now it showed up on my wife’s devices (where I erased the “Test”).
So now it’s shared.
I have failed in the past to share notes using Messages.
What I’d like to do is not show up previous versions of a note.
