Have just bought a new iMac (Catalina OS) and began using a trackpad along with a mouse. The trackpad was one I used with my old computer (8 years old) and for the past few days has worked perfectly with the new computer. Suddenly today it lost contact with the computer and I have been unable to restore it. The green light still shows on the pad but the computer can no longer make contact. Perhaps there is some simple reason for this?
