Macbook Pro 2015 A1502 Trackpad not working

Hi there,

Recently the keyboard and trackpad of my MacBook stopped working, I have replaced the trackpad cable inside the mac and I now have a working keyboard again however my trackpad is still unresponsive.

I have tried resetting the PRAM and doing and SMC reset however this has not helped.

I'm thinking i might have to replace the full trackpad, any thoughts?

Which exact model Mac?

Normally, the internal parts aren't user-serviceable, as other parts can easily be damaged without proper certification/procedures. That said, it does sound like it may be a hardware issue with the trackpad assembly, or even the cable connection at the logic board. Has there ever been any liquid damage to your knowledge?
