Is anyone running Corel Painter 2015 on the above laptop with Yosemite?
I got a brand new MacBook Retina and installed a trial version of Painter 2015. My latest Painter was 12 (X2)
When I try to clone a picture and Auto Paint after 2 or 3 minutes there is a huge sound from the fan (I suppose) and the MacBook starts heating up rapidly. I have to close it, turn it upside down to cool faster and then the same thing again. I took a screen shot of the CPU usage on Auto Paint.
I just chatted with a Corel technician and he said that Painter 2015 does not run on Yosemite, only 10.9 . Really odd!
Has anyone experienced the same problem? I know that most Digital Artists work on Mac.
