Hi,

I just bought a new macbook Pro two days ago and I already faced many Kernel panic issues. They occur randomly or every time my mac is awaken. A diagnosis told me everything's fine with the hardware. I installed all the updates possible. I also installed a couple of softwares: PyCharm, Chrome etc but I dot not remember those installed before my first Kernel Panic. I'd like to spot the culprit but I am not able to properly interpret the error messages. Can you guys help/guide me with the following error message:

Thank you !

Hello and welcome.

I don't see anything in the log that identifies the KP culprit. I would try running Apple Diagnostics to test the hardware:

Using Apple Diagnostics

It could be a hardware issue, but hard to tell.

-Do you have any third-party apps like MacKeeper or CleanMyMac installed?
-Do you have any anti-virus software installed/running?
-Is the KP random, or when using a specific app?

Hi,

Thank you for your answer. As mentioned, I already did a diagnosis which says my mac has no hardware problem. I do no have 3rd party apps, no anti-virus and I do not use external devices (screen, mouse etc).

The KPs are both (1) random and (2) each time my mac is awaken from its sleep mode. I do understand that it is hard to identify the culprit with only a KP report and little context, but any tips or next step I should undertake would be appreciated!

Usually if the Apple Diagnostics passes, then the KPs would be caused by either a hard drive/SSD hardware issue, or a software issue - OS corruption, incompatible version, third-party driver, etc.

-Do you have a current Time Machine or other backup?
