Shared Library Error - please help

Hi all

I use RDC (Remote Desktop Connection) on my Mac OSX 10.4.11 to access a PC on Windows 2003. The software has worked fine for sometime but has suddenly stopped launching and is giving me the following error:

Application Launch Failure

The application "RDC" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "><Remote Desktop Connection><CarbonLib><CFMPriv_CommonPanels><>"

Can somebody please explain this problem and how to possibly fix it.

I have tried reinstalling the software but I still get the same problem.

Try running Disc Utility and Repairing Permissions then restart your Mac and try to use RDC again ....

No joy with that Spawn_Dooley.

I'll try once more and then I guess its a archive and install according to the link you gave me.

Any more thoughts?
