My MacBook Pro is early 2011 and is running OS X Yosemite 10.10.5.

When I use finder to connect to a share folder on a NAS, only some of the folders or files in the share folder appears.
When I use Win7 to connect to the same share folder, I can see more folders or files then on Finder.
When I tried to create a folder with an existing folder, Finder will tell me the folder already exists.

I tried connecting to the share folder with different username but same result. I tried deleting the CloudKitMetadata but same result.

Has anyone experienced the same problem? or know of any solution to this? Appreciate the help!!!

Hello and welcome.

Windows file sharing has always had its quirks.

-Has it always acted this way, or is it new with Yosemite?
-How is the NAS formatted?
-Which OS is providing the file sharing on the NAS?
-Does it have a web interface that you can look at the file sharing settings?
