SOLVED Scammer iMessage will not delete.

Recently received a scam message that will not delete in the usual ways from either my iPhone nor my MacBook Air. Both are up to current updates.
Both have been rebooted and the message was never pinned. Any help? Thank you.

I have never before received a spam message from an email that could not be immediately deleted. This one was from a "hotmail" address pretending to be USPS. ( I KNOW that USPS only send me info via mail, they do not know my text or email addresses.) My wife received a similar spam message today and it also would not delete immediately.

Spam message eventually , after 24 hours, was deletable. Same with spam on wife's phone. Never seen that before, a spam able to go undeletable for 24 hours. So I will have to say "Solved".
