saving doc as jpeg?

I am creating a logo using just words, no images. I am using Word 2004 11.6.3 and would like to save the document as a jpeg.Is this possible or if there is some free software that may make this easier. I do not have any other programs except excel and power point. I am on a budget and don't think I can afford a designer right now. What I need is the logo in image form to create business cards. Any ideas on how to do this?

You could take a screenshot of the Word document, use an image editing app to crop it, then save it as a JPG.

If you want better quality, Print to PDF, then in Preview Save As, PNG
