Safari preferces will not recognize passwords for ID-what do I do without having to reset apple id again and again?

I am suing 10.9.5 and the problem is the auto fill password which
is "trying to show passwords. Type in password(at site) to allow this."
After several attempts it says Hint-mail-but none of my mail accounts are accepted

I believe that it is prompting you for your Mac user password, not an email password. If you added a password hint that states mail, then you might have used one of your email account passwords as your Mac user password.

Try that and see if it works.
