Remote Connection to Mac OS X

We recently got a mac in the house for my wife. I've been using linux for several years, along with windows and I'm wondering if there is a way to connect to the mac via either windows or linux that isn't VNC. IE, what I want to do is be able to connect to the mac and log in to my account while my wife is in her account. It's easy enough to do with linux/unix and I was hoping there was a way to do it with mac. Basically I'm wondering if Leopard has the ability to have simultaneous users logged in.

I ended up figuring it, thanks though. I suppose I should have done a bit more research on fast user switching before I posted.
