I understand there have been some compatibility problems with printers in OS 10.6.
My HP Photosmart C4580 will only work occasionally now since I upgraded to 10.6.1 (Snow Leopard).
I have installed latest drivers from HP.
When it refuses to work the printer itself asks to be turned off and on again but this does not help.
My older Mac (with older OS) works fine with it all the time.
Any suggestions before I take the printer outside and hit it with an axe?
HP tech help are utterly useless.
