    I just saw this:

    https://tidbits.com/2018/04/13/macos-10-13-4-causing-installation-log-failures/

Really strange. Myself I did a fresh, clean, "virgin" installation of OS 10.13.4 on both of my Macs, and I am having no such issues. But that article sure is disturbing.

I would recommend one turn off the "automatic upgrading"feature of High Sierra. It is better to download the file yourself, and then perform the upgrade/new installation. Alternatively, one can download the Combo Updater of a newer version fo a Mac OS without visiting the App store, and apply that update file. That is typically a safe way to go.

    Oops! The title should read:
""Possible" Issue With Upgrading to OS 10.13.4"

My fat fingers got in the way!
