I finally talked my father in law into getting a Mac, and now it appears he is having some compatibility issues with various web sites. He has the brand new iMac with the 20" monitor, and I assume he's running 10.4.
For instance, when he visits this site using Firefox or Safari:
http://daytonamagic.com/
he can't hear the background music, nor view any of the videos from this page:
http://www.daytonamagic.com/Main-Pages/videoclips.htm
When he's using IE, he can hear the music, and the videos work, but appear as tiny thumbnails. I've installed the flip4mac plugin, flash player, and shockwave, but nothing has helped. Please help me convince him he made the right decision by switching to Apple!
If anyone knows of anything I can try to help him, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Mike
