password "Solved"

I wanted to use my mac os x install disks I was asked for my password which I do not remember. Any way of bypassing so I can use these disks??

At what point is it asking for a password?
Normally when you boot off the Disks, there is no password, unless you have a Firmware password?

Thanks for your reply. It was a firmware problem but I resolved it. I inserted my disks and when it came to password I changed it.
