Hello,

Tough at my age now in understanding all the nuances in Parallels:

Question please:

I seem to always have two Parallels related icons in the Dock.
One says Parallels Desktop, and the other says Windows.

Clicking on either seems to bring up Exactly the same screen in Windows
when it opens up.

What are the differences, please ?
Which to use, when ?
etc. ?

Thanks,
B.

Hello,

The Parallels Desktop icon is the Parallels application itself. The Windows icon in the actual virtual machine you are currently running in Parallels. You could have more than one VM running simultaneously - i.e. Windows, Linux, etc., and they would show separately in the Dock.

Hope that helps,
