Mirroring on my Samsung Smart TV

I have an iPhone 7 and a Samsung Smart TV (2017) with no Apple Airplay feature. I want to mirror from my iPhone to my Smart TV screen.
Samsung says it cant be done. I find this difficult to believe but certainly no expert.
Can anyone recommend a solution or app that might help
