I've reset pram/smc,disassembled and heated graphics chips with heat source for better solder connection. Bought a new HD. installed new RAM chips. Power is good. Chime works on boot up,power indicator good, super drive runs but screen is unreadable???? Is it the LCD / Screen is not cracked. Any help is greatly appreciated.
thank you !

Hello and welcome.

-What do you mean by unreadable - blank, distorted, etc? Can you upload a photo of what the screen looks like?
-Do you have an external monitor you can connect? If so, does it have the same issue?

We don't recommend heating the Mac up in that manner as you can easily cause damage to the chips/components. It sounds like either the display itself or the video section of the MLB has failed.
