mid 2012 rMBP SSD options

Apologies if this has been covered before but I'm new to these kind of hard drives. Will these adaptors work for replacing the SSD in a mid 2012 rMBP 15"? I can't seem to find it now but I came across a smaller adaptor also.

I've read there may be a possible bulge?

I don't have any experience with these adapters. The best thing to do would be to contact the manufacturer and verify your exact MBP model to ensure a proper fit.
