MacBook won't reboot -please help

I opened up my Macbook and there was a message telling me I had reboot by holding down the START button. I did this but all I get is the light blue screen. I tried taking the battery out and starting it again. I get the chord of music and then nothing but the light blue screen. No rotating rainbow circle, nothing. Can anyone help ?

You could try this too:

If the computer is on, turn it off.
Disconnect the AC Adapter and remove the computer's battery.
Press and hold down the power button for 5 seconds and then release the button.
Reconnect the battery and AC Adapter.
Press the Power button to restart the computer.​


