MacBook Air screen has vertical lines

Hi Guys,

wondering if anyone has any ideas on a fix for these vertical lines?

It was working fine and hasn’t been dropped etc and they’re now appeared - it disappears with slight movement of the screen and then reappears.

Hello and welcome.

If the lines appear/disappear with movement of the display shell, then it sounds like the display cable is starting to fail, or even the LCD panel itself.

It's not a user-serviceable repair, and can be a bit involved. Other internal components can easily be damaged without the proper environment, tools, and experience.
